I'm currently in the process of turning things over to my replacement. We'll be moving in month so I don't have much time to spin him up.
I was going through my notebook today ensuring I had thought of everything and one page was covered in scribbles. I immediately began to smile and remember the day those scribble were placed there.
Mia loves to draw, so far only on paper. As I watch her create she does it with so much joy and spirit. She proudly shows you her masterpiece and then usually tosses it to the side.
Flipping to that page in my notebook was equivalent to getting a note in my lunch box from my mom in the third grade. It put a smile on my face and made my day instantly better.
As you go throughout your life, try to leave someone you care about a note that they may find right when they need it.
